The National University Library of Turin offers paths for children and families to discover the collections. To learn together while playing.
The following are proposed:
– thematic workshops for families during special openings of the institute, in which children and parents can have fun together and learn in activities led by library staff.
– educational paths related to temporary and permanent exhibitions, which can be freely enjoyed by families visiting the exhibition halls during the institute’s opening hours.

At the end of the activity each child will receive a certificate of participation.
Reservations are required to participate at bu-to.didattica@cultura.gov.it.

Emotions in Music
Family workshop on the occasion of the special opening on Saturday, March 21.
Children will be taken on an interactive guided tour within the itinerary of the temporary exhibition March of Vivaldi, which will be open from March 4 to 26, 2026 in Sala Juvarra. They will then participate in the music workshop Emotions in Music, in which they will discover how a piece by Vivaldi can evoke seasons, colors, feelings and situations. They will then be invited to draw their own story inspired by the piece. At the end of the workshop, each child will be able to take their own “picture of emotions in music” home with them.
Regina Margherita Hall – permanent
Educational path for the permanent Regina Margherita exhibition in the form of a game card that accompanies the visit to the collection.
The cards will be distributed at the Reception desk to families visiting the exhibition.
Nota Bene! – March 4 to March 26, 2026
Family educational trail related to the temporary exhibition March of Vivaldi.
The tour offers a journey through the display cases following captions designed for young children with which the figure of Vivaldi and the themes of the exhibition are presented in a child-friendly way. In conclusion young and old can test themselves with interactive games.
