The exhibition area consists of a hall of about 260 square meters and was renovated in 2015 along with the Vivaldi auditorium.
It can be reached both from the main entrance of the Library, via a short flight of steps, and from the entrance of the Antonio Vivaldi Auditorium on Piazza Carlo Alberto 5; it is also accessible by people with disabilities from the main entrance of the Library, via two elevators located at the side of the Reception, and from the entrance of the Auditorium via a downward ramp.
There is a driveway access in the building for loading and unloading on the Via Battisti side, covered and separate from public access, which can be used for delivery and pickup of works in a secure and video-monitored area.
The exhibition area has no doors that open to the outside of the building.
The space has a modular layout; it consists of modern, shatterproof glass display cases and showcases equipped with cold light to illuminate the exhibits. In recent years, dozens of exhibitions of various kinds have been set up: books, photographs, paintings, sculptures, etc.
