Users can enter the room upon registration (see Reception). You must be 18 years of age or older to use the volume lending service.
Services
In the hall it is possible:
- search the Library’s online catalog
- Ask for direct loan of bibliographic material
- Apply for interlibrary loan and document supply (paid services)
- consult non-lendable material
- consult current periodicals
- Make reproductions with self-service scanners
- Reproduce by their own means the works owned by the Library for personal and scholarly use, in accordance with current copyright law
- View microfilms of some modern periodicals
Italian citizens, EU and non-EU citizens who meet the following requirements are eligible for the loan service:
- 18 years of age
- Guarantee document from parent/guardian in case of minors
- residence in Piedmont
- documentation of domicile in Piedmont for study, research or work purposes for non-residents of the region
A reference service is provided by the staff.
