Access:
Admission is free.
You must be 16 years of age or older to enter the study rooms and register onsite or at the registration form. A valid ID and health card are required for registration at the venue, which will serve as a badge to enter after registration. Minors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by their parent/guardian who will authorize their entry into the Library.
Residents abroad without a health card will be given a temporary card.
Users who intend to go to the study rooms are required to deposit their bags, briefcases, backpacks, umbrellas and similar items in the lockers provided at the entrance.
The reception is equipped with passenger lifts to facilitate users with disabilities.
No registration is required to enter the exhibition halls and Auditorium, and there is no age limit.
Services:
Borrowed volumes can be returned in reception. There are two stations for consulting the Library’s online catalog. The bibliographic holdings are not entirely contained in the online catalog; part of them can be accessed by consulting the printed catalog on the 2nd floor.
Explanatory cards on the history of the Library and the permanent exhibitions in the Regina Margherita Room and the Erminia Caudana Historical Room are available on the counter.
For all users there are toilets equipped also for people with disabilities located on floor -1, mezzanine and floor 1.
